Managing a Fair Tribunal: Effective Engagement, Communication and Self Care

This one-day skills-based program for tribunal members focuses on developing and practising techniques to manage the tribunal room more effectively.

Human Ethos are experienced psychologists/facilitators who will guide you through interactive exercises and coaching that will build your confidence and give insight into improving your communication to meet the diverse needs of tribunal users. Human Ethos are internationally recognised experts in judicial wellbeing education, consultation and intervention. They work collaboratively with leaders to understand the specific challenges and needs of a jurisdiction, division or individual.

Topics covered include:

• Performing the tribunal member role with appropriate authority
• Managing complex behaviours in the tribunal room
• Self-regulation
• Member health and wellbeing over a sustained period

Cost: $450 Members and $480 Non-Members including GST to be paid prior to the commencement of the program. Cost includes all course materials and catering – arrival tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
