 The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) is currently seeking applications for a Chief Corporate Officer.

The location of this position can be in any of our CBD locations in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, or Perth.

This position can be appointed as ongoing or non-ongoing for a period of up to 5 years.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Corporate Officer is responsible for the delivery of day-to-day and long-term people and culture, communications and property and security operations and initiatives.

The role will have a legacy of fostering cultures that are ready to embrace change and will have achieved success with major people transformation agendas and driving continuous improvement across the Operations branch. This will include identifying opportunities to improve delivery of essential corporate services and in the longer term, holistic planning for people and culture, communications, property and security needs and efficiencies.

This role will directly contribute to the development of short, medium and long-term people and culture, and communications strategies to achieve business outcomes, shape policy development, manage change and build organisational culture.

In addition, the role will be responsible for property functions and security governance to ensure a safe and secure Tribunal at all locations and will also take responsibility for building a robust security culture by developing and coordinating work programs to ensure the effective management of the Tribunal’s properties and assets.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, as well as holding or have ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 clearance following commencement. A membership of relevant professional associations or institutes will be well regarded.
