$79,438 to $84,238 plus 15.4% superannuation

We are looking for an APS5 Senior Caseload Officer to join our close-knit national Caseload Management Allocation Team (CMAT) within the Social Services and Child Support Division (SSCSD). The role is diverse, challenging, and exciting as an opportunity to work in the Division’s first centralised listing team.

The Senior Caseload Officer will be responsible for a ‘caseload/profile’ to list nationally as well as additional duties to assist in the management and oversight of the team’s work and daily tasks such as quality assurance, provision of feedback and profiling of complex cases.

The role also manages escalations of more complex or significant matters and provides administrative support to the to the Tribunal’s internal and external stakeholders (including the APS6, Division Head and Senior Members). The APS5 will also be responsible for managing two APS4 staff members as well as training.

The successful candidate will possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to problem solve in an effective manner. Ideally, you will have some case management, administrative decision making or other court or tribunal experience but candidates with leadership and management experience and complementary transferable skills will be considered
