Places are available in COAT’s third on-line training program designed for recently appointed Tribunal members (6 months experience in the role is recommended) commencing late April 2019. Led by Justice Duncan Kerr, Judge of the Federal Court of Australia and former President of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (2012 – 2017), Judge Sandy Horneman-Wren District Court of Queensland and former Deputy President QCAT (2012 – 2015), and Anne Britton, Principal Member, NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Chair of the Council of Australasian Tribunals, the course is interactive and offers practical guidance on carrying out the challenging role of a Tribunal member in a collegial and supportive environment.
We currently have a number of confirmed participants, and with minimum of 20 participants and maximum of 25, places are limited, so please book early. If you are unable to attend this Program and interested in a future date, please forward your EOI to facilitate planning.
