COAT VIC 2017 Annual Conference
COAT VIC 2017 Annual Conference
The Victorian Chapter of the Council of Australasian Tribunals (COAT VIC) is holding its 2017 Annual Conference & AGM on Friday 12 May 2017, on the topic, “Dealing with the Challenges of Taking and Weighing Evidence”, and we warmly invite you to attend, register promptly, and put the date of the Conference into your diary.
We are very fortunate that Justice Jennifer Coate, Commissioner on the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, has agreed to be the keynote speaker at COAT’s Conference, speaking on the theme of “Getting the voices of children into evidence before tribunals”.
Please note that the venue for the Conference has changed this year, and the Conference will be held at “Oaks on Collins”, at 480 Collins Street (not at OAKS on Market as in previous years).
Also note that the Conference Registration fee of $120.00 includes the annual $40.00 COAT membership fee – although if you are not a member, you will need to complete and lodge a COAT VIC Membership Application/Renewal of Membership Form.
